Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness does multiple things: It connects to the comics, gives fan service, wraps one storyline, and opens possibilities of so much more. Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role as Dr. Strange and Elizabeth Olsen who plays Wanda/Scarlett Witch is back too! America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) intercepts into Earth-616 where she immediately runs into the Dr. Strange that we all know and love. He was attending the wedding of Christine (Rachel McAdams), when an invasion occurs and goes into saving the world mode. Wong (Benedict Wong) comes to assist to defeat this beast who they soon realize is after America.

I won’t go into the full movie, but let’s just say, director Sam Rami put his touch on this one. We are in the dark phase of the MCU now. This movie had many horror elements, I jumped a few times. It was visually stunning and there’s a music fight scene that was different and epic. This movie adds to the storyline that was in WandaVision; we also learn more about Dr. Strange and his childhood and how that affected him in life.

Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is unique from the other MCU films. I’m sure it barely held on to the PG-13 rating due to the gore, horror and adult language used. Comic book fans will be happy with how the movie utilized the various aspects of the source material. There is a mid- credit scene that could further shape what is next within this new Marvel Saga. The end credit scene is all Sam Rami! Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness was a rollercoaster ride of thrills and multiverses for which we’ve all been waiting for!
