Sofia not only tells her family that she’s getting married but that she and her fiancée will be moving to Mexico in 2 months and need to get married right away. This is when the movie gets fun. The stress of planning a wedding, along with Billy and Ingrid keeping their pending divorce news from the family, has the family, especially Billy, in a whirlwind. They hire a wedding planner Natalie Vance (Chloe Fineman) and her sidekick Kyler (Casey Thomas Brown). It’s a small role, but not a forgettable one. We also met Sofia’s fiancée, Adan’s family. He has a father who, turns out, is a multi-millionaire to the surprise of Billy. Hernan Castillo (Pedro Damian), his young wife Julieta ( Macarena Achaga) and his ex-wife Marcela (Laura Harring).

Father of the Bride is a sweet movie just like all the others. A great movie to watch on Father’s Day weekend. Billy eventually learns that there is more to life than work and money. Billy eventually realizes that his children are good and that he now needs to learn how to love his wife again, as well as himself. This movie is about love and about losing love if you lose sight of what is important to you, which is the love you have for your family and the love they have for you. Father of the Bride also teaches you to live every moment because once your kids are all grown up, then it’s up to you to live for yourself. This was a great movie with a great cast. Father of the Bride is now streaming on HBO MAX.
